VitalSync Privacy Policy Addendum
This addendum supplements the S² Arts Lab Privacy Policy.
Where this addendum and the ecosystem policy differ on VitalSync-specific practices, this addendum controls for VitalSync.
All other ecosystem terms still apply.
What VitalSync is
VitalSync is a wellness reflection and biofeedback app for heart coherence, sleep planning, stress awareness, and journey support. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.
Data VitalSync collects
- Account data — email, display name, and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in.
- Wellness profile — goals, preferences, and profile fields you enter in settings.
- Biofeedback and health-adjacent metrics — session summaries, coherence readings, sleep targets, step goals, and related self-reported wellness data.
- Privacy toggles — your choices for sharing anonymized health metrics or biofeedback summaries with S² ecosystem research workflows.
- Usage diagnostics — crash logs and performance data needed to keep the app reliable.
- Optional AI assistance — if you enable hosted AI or supply your own API keys, prompts you send for wellness guidance may be processed by the provider you choose.
How VitalSync uses data
- Display dashboards, mind-map insights, and personalized wellness reflections you request.
- Honor your in-app privacy and sharing toggles.
- Sync account state when you use VitalSync web or mobile with the same credentials.
- Improve reliability and security of the VitalSync service.
VitalSync does not sell your wellness data. Aggregated or anonymized exports occur only when you opt in through settings.
Integrations
VitalSync may link to other S² apps (for example Soundscapes for audio support). Data crosses apps only when you initiate that workflow or enable sharing in settings.
Your choices
- Control anonymized health and biofeedback sharing in Settings → Privacy.
- Export or delete account-related data by contacting [email protected].
- Decline optional AI features and use VitalSync without hosted assistance.
